Bianca Miller

Client Need: Bianca Miller

Bianca is a thirty-two-year-old, single mother of three in Gwinnett County. She was referred to us by our partners, Rainbow Village upon graduating their program.

Background

Bianca is a single mother of three children.

Client Situation

Bianca has always wanted to graduate from college. It was a dream of hers for fourteen years. After several years of moving her girls from shelter to shelter, she was accepted into the Rainbow Village transitioning housing program. There she was able to get back on her feet, but her dream of going to college was placed on the back burner, until she was connected with H.O.P.E, Inc. As she graduated from the Rainbow Village program and into her new apartment, she knew she would still need help if she planned to enroll back into college. That’s where H.O.P.E, Inc. came in.

Action

H.O.P.E. Inc. agreed to assist Bianca with $250 a month in rent assistance and $75 in childcare assistance. With the programs help, she was able to get counseling to help balance anxieties around single parenting, and financial training to maintain her budget. All of the support helped her tremendously, and she achieved her goal of obtaining her first college degree in May of 2019.

She owes it all to H.O.P.E. Inc.
