Background
Megan* needed H.O.P.E, Inc.’s help after a ten year relationship failed.
Client Situation
Megan* contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. when her bills got behind, and she was faced with an eviction notice. Maintaining all of her bills soon became a constant struggle, and the added stress of being a full-time student hadn’t helped. With only one more year to go in school, she had a hard time focusing and soon grew behind in her course work due to all the stress. She began to think that her goal of graduating was not in her near future. With older kids involved in school activities, her expenses grew. Getting a part-time job, in addition to attending school and raising a family, seemed complexed time wise.
Action

As a result, Megan* was able to maintain housing for her children and even start an emergency fund. After a promotion on the job, she was able to graduate from the H.O.P.E, Inc. program due to lack of financial need. She is stable and looking forward to graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management in spring 2016. As a member of H.O.P.E, Inc.’s Pay It Forward Graduate Program, she plans to give back to this wonderful program. Jasmine accredits H.O.P.E, Inc. for graduating and plans to give back to H.O.P.E. Inc.
